Skye Time
A place where time stands still.
Strathaird can feel like a place where time stands still. Let it! Give yourself the space to slow down, unwind and switch off from the trials of life in the modern world. Allow the unique atmosphere of the Isle of Skye to refresh your body and soul. There’s no rush. Take time to discover the joy of simple things – the eagles on the wing and the otters in the loch. Reflect on the beauty in the ever-changing sea, sky and hills, fill your lungs with the fresh clean air and absorb the sound of silence.

Off the beaten track the dramatic wilderness landscapes have formed a backdrop to many films. Not far from Strathaird House is a path taking you into the heart of the Cuillin Mountains and a bit further on finds the village of Elgol where a short boat trip takes you to stunning Loch Coruisk nestled at the foot of the dramatic Black Cuillin.
